About the Item

The San Miguelito armchair is an iconic design by the Bauhaus trained American designer Michael van Beuren, realized during his lifetime in Mexico. It is meticulously handcrafted in Iroko solid wood by Luteca for full outdoor use. First produced in the 1940s under the Domus van Beuren mark, the timeless design has been updated with traditional joinery and the addition of brass plugs. The perfectly proportioned frame and ergonomic design make it remarkably comfortable whilst being an exceptional and unique design specified by some of the top designers in the World. Also available with leather wrapped ribs.
