Mario Marenco for Poltrona Frau, set of 10 'Movie' armchairs, metal, leather, Italy, 1984
Italian furniture designer Mario Marenco drew inspiration from cinema seats, hence the name ‘Movie’ chair. He also wanted to design a comfortable chair that can be used as a dining chair, conference chair or for public events. It is easily possible to stack up to eight chairs above each other.
This particular set is upholstered with a lovely yellow leather. The black tubular frame forms a striking contrast.
