US$11,500per set

About

Machine Age Art Deco McKay Craft streamline pair of cantilevered lounge chairs. PRICE REDUCED Fully-restored condition. Re-plated polished chrome original steel frames, new black hide leather sling and cushions with white leather piping. Re-tied original steel springs, filled-pad custom cushions. This is simply the McKay model you want; with the extra-wide convexed flat-band chromed-steel frame, original huge hex-nuts and original rivet-head bolts. Graceful curves and extreme angles. This is not the typical McKaycraft sling chair. Much more substantial and with original spring-cushion restoration. McKay-Craft Salvatore Bevalacqua or Percival Goodman Art Deco flat-band design introduced in the Florida house at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. William McGowan U.S. patented cantilevered construction for McKay, 1934 Granted/1932 applied. Built like tanks. Incredibly stable and comfortable. The real deal. Blows away most Rohde, Hoffmann and Weber chrome chair designs.
