Geneva was a very honorable christian-calvinistic place that time. When the first brothel opened in the 1920ties, it became an immediate huge scandal. The cathouse had to close on the next morning. The doctor, father of our friend aquired some of the furniture, amongst them this lovely pair of armchairs.
