French Ivory Abstract Modernist Art Deco Rug

About the Item

A rare and unusual French Art Deco rug distinguished by an abstract grid pattern over an ivory background. Rugs of this period were quite strongly influenced by the artistic avant-garde movements that were happening in Paris, as there was a strong interconnection between the Fine and the decorative arts.
