About the Item
The Mamounia rug was inspired by my travels to Morocco and my love of all things orientalist. Taken from an ancient traditional tile, I simplified the design and as such a more modern, multiple use pattern has evolved. I believe the simplicity juxtaposed with the exotic flavour of this rug lends an air of utter luxuriousness to any interior, be it traditional or modern. This design is timeless and without boundaries," says designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
