Rare figurative motifs of a Chinese tea jarm ceramic vase with flowers and an elevated tray with exotic fruits on an red background, surrounded by a mint green figurative boarder. Vibrant and uniform colors circa 1930, Turkestan Good vintage condition The Samarkand carpet capture the fine weaving traditions of ancient Uzbek tribesmen. Dazzling, classic motifs reminiscent of those created in the oasis towns of East Turkestan shine through a hand-knotted, 100 percent pure wool pile. Traditionally styled, these exquisite carpets will add a distinctive accent to the décor of any fine dining area, great room or executive business office.
