Hand knotted in wool originating from Turkey circa 1910-1920, this antique rug connotes a subtle floral pattern likely appealing to the emerging French market of the era—the abundance of repeating floral palmettes bearing resemblance to bessarabian and varied European-sensible motifs signifying the intriguing emphasis of scarlet red and pink this transitional rug boasts.
