Antique Red Kazak Runner, circa 1900s

About the Item

This good condition south Caucasian rug displays a madder red field with a pole medallion of five navy, ivory and green lozenges. An ivory border with floating ashiks is flanked by keyhole pattern bitonal reciprocal guards. The colors are all of natural origin.
