About the Item

Livio Tessandori now lives and works in Lucca, Tuscany, where he attended the Art School. From an early age he worked as a painter participating in group exhibitions in his city. With the move to Milan he was able to grow artistically, finding appreciation at an international level. His works can be found in private collections in New York City, Denver, Copenhagen, Berlin, Bordeaux, Milan, Rome, Pisa, Lucca, Museum of Goni (Thessaloniki). The reason for 8 has very positive meanings for everything concerning money, business and financial aspects. In China the number 8 is considered a lucky number, because in Chinese the word 8 resembles that which means wealth, well-being. The carpet we are presenting has been created in collaboration with the Art Gallery of Olivia Toscani of Florence and is entirely handmade in Nepal with local wools."
