About the Item

Studio Lievito for Boralevi Firenze presents the ‘Camera Con Vista’ carpet collection. The story of a place evoked by an imaginary perspective. The architectural element of the window is mentioned in its minimal form and a graphic game of depth. The carpets, measuring 130 x 250 cm, are available in two colors and are made entirely of wool, using the carving technique to enhance the details of the design. The collection comes from the collaboration of Studio Lievito with Boralevi Firenze, an important gallery and editor of antique and contemporary carpets. Studio Lievito, founded in Florence in 2010, stands out for its ability to design both unique and serial pieces redefining modern production techniques using traditional crafting methods. A “slow design” which subverts conventional decor norms by means of simple yet witty gestures and meticulous detailing. The Boralevi gallery was founded in Venice in 1930 as an antique textile expert and it is now located in the center of Florence. Currently the gallery is proposed as a modern carpet editor collaborating with the most important architects and interior designers, strong of its wide knowledge in the production of bespoke carpets.
