C F A Voysey for Liberty & Co. An original 'Glenmure' Donegal rug. The color is wonderful, rich, and very vibrant without any fading and a lovely deep pile underfoot. This is an extremely rare rug, particularly that the colorway is still in almost perfect condition. An original 'Glenmure' Donegal rug. The family it came from recalled it was sent back to the Donegal factory in the 1930s to have a small repair carried out. The repair is shown in the last two images, on both sides and so good one can hardly see it.

Repaired: The family it came from recalled it was sent back to the Donegal factory in the 1930s to have a small repair carried out. The repair is shown in the last two images, on both sides and so good one can hardly see it. Wear consistent with age and use. The family it came from had a small professional repair carried out by at the Donegal factory where it was originally made in Ireland.
