Nanna Ditzel Vintage Cane in Oak 'The Walking Stick'

About the Item

t is called 'The Walking Stick' and it was designed in 1958 by iconic female furniture designer Nanna Ditzel. This particular example was made during the 1960s by Kolds Savværk in Kerteminde Denmark. It characterized by its ring handle in maple and mahogany fashioned by the use of lamination technique. The contrasting wood tones creates a vivid striated pattern. The stick itself is made from strong Danish oak. Measurements: H: 90 cm (total), Handle: 14x12 cm.
