3 Panel Hand Painted Rare Papier Mâché Screen

About the Item

3 panel hand painted rare papier mâché folding screen. Superfine handmade papier mâché old stock screen from Kashmir with intricate facets and 18-karat gold touches. This would have taken the artist a year to produce on account of it's large scale and meticulous detail and he/she would have been consigned for this special work. Stamped with serial number and backed in fawn velvet. Some repairs and dents visible but in overall good condition and shows beautifully given age and use.
