About the Item
Antique Toy in the shape of a Bulldog Dog.
This Bulldog Toy Dog dates circa 1920-1930. It's handmade of velvet and stuffed with straw. This Art Deco Toy features a seated English bulldog, Frenchie dog.
The Straw is stuffed on a metal frame, has glass eyes, a leather collar and a jointed neck. This soft toy has the color golden brown.
For the period, late Art Nouveau, Early Art Deco, it was very unique to own such a toy as it was very expensive in that time.
For his age this dog toy is still in very beautiful condition, he does have one half eye and the collar has been broken.
