Antique Biedermeier Styled Smoking Pipe Head or Bowl with a Hand-Painted Female

About the Item

This antique and hand-painted smoking pipe head is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in Austria in approximately 1880 in the period Biedermeier style. This tall pipe bowl has a very well executed hand-painted female portrait in period costume in a rather provocative pose for the time period. The pipe bowl shows no damage or signs of being used.
