Meteorological Office calibration certificate dated 27.6.96 Literature: Barometers - Aneroid and Barographs, Edwin Banfield, 1985. page 131 fig. 116. Short and Mason Ltd: Established in 1875 by Thomas Short and James Mason as Short & Mason, trading at 40 Hatton Garden, London, they made and sold barographs, aneroid barometers, compasses, aviation instruments such as altimeters, indicators and gauges.
