About the Item
Cameo (brooch with security handle) with gold frame. The central piece, made in shell (Cassius Cypraea), white on flesh tone, presents a female bust (on view from the side). This young lady, with her hair decorated with abundant flowers, is Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers, gardens and spring, who was very popular in neoclassical arts.
