This book is the third in the comprehensive multi-volume series on the decorative arts of the Paris Salons 1895-1914, it provides a virtually complete visual record of the amazing range of furniture created during the twenty year period which saw the rise, triumph and demise of the style generally known as Art Nouveau. This is a chronological record of the work of some 250 designers and cabinet makers, with over 1500 black & white photographs and 25 color plates. Designers such as Emile Galle, Louis Majoerlle, Paul Follot, Paul Iribe and Abel Landry to name but a few, are included.
