Povl Dinesen Teak Side Tables / Nightstands Denmark
About the Item
A pair of very well crafted teak side tables with floating top, single drawer to each with protruding beveled handle across the front of the drawers and open backside opposite the drawer for storage. The sculptural side mounted leg structure is perfection as far as design and early cabinetmaking of the period. Bought in 1962 by the former owner directly from the Povl Dinesen showroom in Copenhagen which was the top place to buy Danish Modern items from the top cabinetmakers and design artists of the period.
