American Victorian Folk Art Bed with Hand-Painted Cats, circa 1880 Solid Walnut
About the Item
The Kitties are here, looking for a young lady to watch over each night. Decorated with walnuts, this amazing Antique Victorian Bed was made using some of the most beautiful woods available at the time, Oak, Walnut, and Elm. During the last quarter of the 20th century, an awesome, artistic grandmother, hand-painted adorable Kitty-Cats on the Headboard of this Bed for her granddaughter. Unusually wide for a bed of this era for it is a full 60" in width.
The mattress can be no larger than 61.25" wide x 77.5" long.
