About the Item
This pair of Art Deco ceramic bookends are signed, but the maker could not be identified, but presumed to have been made in France in approximately 1935 in the period Art Deco style. These ceramic bookends are a matched pair of 'Tom' turkeys done in a taupe luster glaze which gives it a somewhat pink appearance with geometric detailed features done in grey. These bookends are each signed "C.H. France" with impressed lettering on the bottom.
