Lens on Stand by Pye of Cambridge

About the Item

An early 20th century lens on a weighted stand by Pye of Cambridge. The rotating lens is mounted in a gilt brass dial marked with 360 degree circle, the height and angle can be adjusted on the stand. W. G. Pye & Co. Ltd was founded in 1896 in Cambridge, England, by William George Pye (1869-1949), and made scientific instruments and radio equipment.
