We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely late 19th century French oversized shield wall mirror with hand carved acanthus leaf and floral scrolling detail A very high end original 19th century mirror, a rare shape and with lots of ornate detailing all over, this is more like a piece of art than an actual mirror The mirror plate is original and lightly distressed, it has some patina lines across the plate, the frame has some light losses to the very ornate detailing, there are some little screw head caps missing and so on, it is a large and decorative piece Dimensions: Height 131cm Width 104cm Depth 5.5cm This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
