    This Rattan Wall Mirror is an original decorative object manufactured by the Italian company Bonacina between 1950s/1960s. The material of this mirror is the so-called midollino, that is rattan , a sort of climbing palm widespread in tropical and sub-tropical areas. The name of midollino probably derives from the fact that it is obtained from the innermost part of the rattan plant, that is, from the 'pith'.
