About

Beautiful floral stucco works in each corner adorned by a gorgeous looking patina are the highlights as well as the red shining half rods. This effect comes from the substratum for gold leaf, the so-called "Bolus", which shines through the heavily abraded gold surface - you can even see the overlaps. This luxurious gilt mirror was minimal restored to keep the original "untouched" look as best as we can, - only the mirror glass had to be renewed. The backside was closed with paper.
