About the Item

Fine late Biedermeier Nutwood wall mirror out of Austria, circa 1860. This mid-sized 19th century wall mirror features great carved nut wood bars over an overlapped inserted substructure. The straight design alongside the wonderful color of the wood makes this mirror an absolute timeless piece from the second Biedermeier period. The backside was closed with a spruce wood panel and shows a hand forged ring which makes wall mounting easy. If you are interested in a pair - please also check out our other matching piece Ref.
