19th Century French Exotic Rococo Mirror Hand Painted Decoupage Boy with Bear

A unique 19th century French exotic themed, hand painted, decoupaged and mirrored depiction of a young animal trainer and his bear. One of a pair offered separately, as shown in the last photo.
The paper figural scene is cut and mounted between glass and a mirror backing, showing a boy training a standing bear. The boy wears a red robe and cap with a gold neckpiece. The bear is on a lead and holds a walking stick.
The mirror is presented in a French Rococo-style scroll carved giltwood frame.
A very heavy and unusual piece. The label pictured is attached to the other piece of the pair, included here to show.
Measures: 20 in. L x 14 in. W x 1 in. H
The mirror shows scattered losses to the silver backing. The frame has scattered nicking and some separation at the miters.
