Kiko Lopez is one of the few artisans working today in the traditional craft of hand-silvering. In this piece, Lopez applies the technique to a unique background--that of a fireplace surround. The mirrored panels reflect and absorb the warm colors of the fire, drawing the eye and carving a new space for this timeless art.
This extraordinary fireplace is one of several he's produced on commission for private residences in the US and abroad. Lopez works on commission, and can tailor this design for your home or project.
