- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Gesso is structurally sound. Very minor areas of raised gesso are missing. Gilding is worn is the tell tale "maid's mark" areas (top and lower portions of the gesso, see photos). Some tight cracks to gesso. Old contact paper added back in the 1950s.
