Danish Midcentury Kähler Table Lamp Turquoise Blue and Brown, Denmark, 1960s
About the Item
Midcentury ceramic table lamp from Danish Kähler (HAK).
The lamp was designed by Nils Kähler and made circa 1960s.
The neck is dark brown and has a smooth polished surface which is contrasted by the base covered with a glossy turquoise glaze showing an embossed herringbone pattern.
On bottom the lamp base is handsigned with "HAK" and Nils (for Nils Kähler) and stamped with "Made in Denmark". It still wears the original Kähler paper sticker.
Included is a new lamp shade designed in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.

Use light bulb for type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: A new fabric lampshade has been added. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with full function. No cracks or repairs. Small chip on bottom of base, most likely from production when taken out of the kiln. The lamp comes with new a lamp shade as seen in the images.
