    The Saffo table lamp was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Artemide in 1967. The aluminum base supports the mushroom-shaped lampshade in smoked Murano blown glass. The glass is mouth blown in two colors and in one piece. The Saffo lamp creates a fantastic ethereal light effect. This lamp has been out of production for many years and has never been re-edited. Artemide was founded in the province of Milan in 1959 by the designers Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza.
