About the Item

A pair of Rugiodoso (dewdrops) Murano glass lights. We have two pairs available. Perfect bathroom or dressing table lights to sit each side of a mirror. Each fixture takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs. They are currently wired to switch on/off individually at the base of the light fixture. The glass has been made by hand, you can see where it has been pulled into shape. A simple, clean, elegant design. Like a gecko, you can see their insides faintly through the glass. This depends on the light you view them in. The white backing plate has been powder coated. There are a few minor marks on each. One light has a few bits of powder coat loss. Overall very good condition. Glass, excellent. A pair of chrome-plated screws fixes each glass front to it's plate. A very simple and straightforward install on these. They even stand on their own as a table lamp but you will need your electrician to wire them safely for that use. Currently only the original internal wiring is supplied. A NOTE ON WIRING: This item is rewired to Australian/NZ Standard and has been tested and tagged safe for a nominal 230v system (supply of anywhere from 210-240v). Australian and New Zealand buyers must consult a registered electrician for hard wired installation or safety tag will be void. Plug and play if this item is a lamp. This light is compatible with European 220v electrical systems but wire colours may differ and correct bulbs may or may not be readily available. Please check with your bulb supplier before purchase - many are available online. Consult your electrician for hard wired installation or to change bulb sockets (or for plug change if this item is a lamp). In the US and anywhere a 110v system is in place - this light may or may not require rewiring to meet your local safety standards and correct bulbs may or may not be readily available. Please use the information provided to seek advice on compatibility from your locally registered electrician before purchase. They will be able to advise on the potential need for rewiring, bulb socket changes, or if this item is a lamp, for plug change. Before purchase, please check with your bulb supplier - many are available online. Use of LED bulbs is recommended (to prevent overheating and reduce power usage).
