Motoko Ishii for staff, 1970s extra large modular wall or ceiling lamp.
Large and rare wall or flush mount ceiling lamp by Motoko Ishii for staff lighting company, Germany, 1970s.
Heat-resistant resin, metalized base and 13 clear glass shades. The lamp received the design award in 1974 for her design.
High quality and in perfect condition. The chandelier can be disassembled and the glass shades can be individually wrapped for easy transport.
Motoko Ishii is a Japanese lighting designer. From 1965-1967 she worked at lighting-design offices in Finland and Germany.
Returning to Japan in 1968, she established the Ishii Motoko Design Office.
