A wonderful vintage Italian gilt and macaroni beaded crystal hot air balloon chandelier, light fixture with beaded crystal swags and adorned with cut crystal drops throughout. Completely redone and comes ready to install. Actual fixture measures: 21" H x 13" W Without chain and canopy.

  • Exceptional Hot Air Balloon Chandelier, Gilt Bronze and Crystal, Period: 19th
    Located in CRÉTEIL, FR
    Exceptional chandelier called “Montgolfière”. Fully electrified, its frame is in gilded bronze composed of a central part supporting 6 gilt bronze sconces where the sockets support lovely little screw bulbs. Its crystal collar cut in the shape of an oak leaf, symbolizing majesty, solidity and power, is set with vertical and pointed daggers in the shape of blades. This set magnifies a cascade of octagonal crystal pendants meticulously cut by hand in diamond cut and then finished with a crown of vertical daggers. The diamond cut will allow the luminosity of the bulbs which will pass through the pendants, to break down the spectrum of light and to restore all the colors of the rainbow.
