  • Sistema Chandelier by Piattelli Design, 8-shade
By Bruno Gatta, Stilnovo, Silvio Piattelli
Located in Tavarnelle val di Pesa, Florence
This chandelier uses an ingenious rotating stem structure and features a shallow drum-shaped shade at the end of each arm. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully. The result is uniform lighting from above the dining table. There is nothing else like this on the market. There are beautiful chandeliers available, but they always tend to give out too much light in the center and too little at either side. This is the largest Sistema chandelier with 4 arms and 8 shades. Ideal for a long rectangular dining table. Each shade has two LED strips that can be lit separately. In this way you can have either a regular light or a stronger light depending on how you need to use the chandelier. The LEDs are top quality with a CRI of over 80. This ensures that the natural color of food and people can be seen perfectly. See the next to last photo, where there is some fruit and a color chart below the chandelier. The LEDs are on a 24V direct current feed, so there is no flickering. The arms can rotate 180 degrees, for many possible combinations. See the drawing for the two regular positions. The chandelier can also be rotated when it is lit. The shades can be rotated on the arm axis to meet any lighting needs in a living room (paintings, bookshelves etc.). The shades have neutral white glass fixtures. Please see the photos. On the back there is a smaller Lucite opening for giving ambient light. The chandelier has the ingenious brass finishes of the orbitale collection. This listing shows measurements for a dining table and the smallest drop. A change of drop is complimentary. Please see the last image for all sizes and ask for high resolution technical drawings if you need them. Please see the drawing to get an idea of sizes for the different chandeliers. On the upper side of each disc there is a smaller opening to provide ambient light. Top-quality LEDs with over 80 CRI, meaning that the lighting does not alter the color of food and people. The LEDs are on a 24V direct current feed, so there is no flickering. The arms can be rotated 180 degrees to configure various combinations. As well as two rows of evenly-spaced lights over a dining table, a regular 8-shade star or 4-shade star (see photos) are possible, as well as creative sculptural shapes. The arms can be rotated even when the chandelier is lit. The shades can also be rotated on the arm axis to meet any lighting needs in a living room (paintings, bookshelves etc.). This listing shows the smallest drop. A change of drop is complimentary. Silvio Piattelli copyright and design. Specifications (Note: The Sistema chandelier has glass shades, while Sistema Solare...

The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully. This is the medium Sistema chandelier, with 3 arms and 6 shades. Ideal for an oval or long dining table. It works well also over an island. The result is uniform lighting from above the dining table. There is nothing else like this on the market. There are beautiful chandeliers available, but they always tend to give out too much light in the center and too little at either side. • Adjustable Three-Arm Chandelier Brass Patinated Sage Green New Staggered Design
    By Stilnovo, Arredoluce, Arteluce
Located in Tavarnelle val di Pesa, Florence
This chandelier repeats the arms construction of the other three arms chandeliers in line. The new feature is that the pivot points on the central stem are not on the same line but staggered so that the horizontal position of all 3 arms can be achieved. When all arms are horizontal it looks like a planetario version. This does not prevent to place the arms in all other position like the Triennale chandeliers...

  • Sistema Chandelier, Piattelli Design, Brushed Nickel and Glass, 6-Shade
    By Silvio Piattelli
Located in Tavarnelle val di Pesa, Florence
Brass Sistema chandelier, made with a nickel plated finish lightly brushed. This chandelier brings the popular chrome like finish to the Sistema and Sistema solare group. I'm using nickel finish because it's harder and the light brushing gives more dept to the finish. It also keeps the finish uniform in case of use, considering this chandelier has moving parts. Last nickel plating is a bit more warm than chrome. This chandelier uses an ingenious rotating stem structure and features a shallow drum-shaped shade at the end of each arm. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully.
