Railroad Platform Lamp
About the Item
These early utilitarian style gas lamps were the type found in 1800s general stores and train platforms. We were inspired by their simple and elegant look when this collection was created. They have the feel of a gas lamp but are wired for a standard bulb. The crown has a dark brass finish and was the lamps smoke shield. The tented glass milk glass shade has a 13.5 inch diameter and the bulb is covered in a fluted Mellon shaped frosted shade.
