About the Item
Il Pezzo 12 is a female figure suspended in the air, carrying in her womb the light. It’s nimble, refined, addictive.
The solid clearest crystal, brilliantly illuminated by two LEDs, diffuses ambient light and casts mesmerizing patterns throughout the room. It’s suspended between brass stems and brass casting rings, available in different finishes. The fixture is adorned with an additional LED at the end of each stem to provide direct lighting. Experiencing the exquisite craftsmanship of this piece, combined with highly advanced LED technology, is truly fascinating.
Each suspension is numbered and shows the “Missing Piece” (“Pezzo Mancante” in Italian): a small brass cylinder containing a unique serial number, guarantees its authenticity and individuality.
Custom sizes and finishes are also available to suit every preference.
All our masterpieces are meticulously crafted in our Atelier located in Florence, Italy, from a small team of people driven by a shared passion for quality and beauty. Il Pezzo Mancante ("The Missing Piece" in English) was born in 2010, created by Cosimo Terzani and Barbara Bertocci. Inspired from their passion for quality raw materials and an innate love for their homeland, Tuscany, they create a world made of authenticity and vision in which you can rediscover an extraordinary rich artisan culture.
It’s a world that celebrates the beauty of handcrafted pieces; tangible works of art designed to express warmth and “familiar feel”.
The solid wood, the brass castings, the solid crystal and the marble sourced from the finest Carrara quarries, are not just icons from the past but symbols of timeless intelligence and elegance rediscovered in modern life.
Il Pezzo Mancante is an Atelier that designs and creates unique pieces, each one hides a small brass cylinder, containing the serial number, which seals the authenticity and uniqueness.
