French Forged-Iron Eight-Light Chandelier in Rectangular Shape, Mid-20th Century
About the Item
A French black forged-iron chandelier with eight-lights from the mid 20th century. This vintage chandelier from France has an overall rectangular-shape, with four cross-beams which support ruffled iron bobeches with painted candle sleeves sitting atop their scrolled ends. The light has a shallow height, with lights above perpendicularly set iron bars, and connects to the upper canopy with linked chains. The light fixture has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. This French black iron chandelier from the mid-20th century has a shape that would lend itself well to be hung over a rectangular table or perhaps a kitchen island.
