French Art Deco Enameled Glass Pendant Light by Maxonade Verrier D’Art, Paris

About the Item

A charming Art Deco pendant light by Maxonade Verrier D’Art, Paris, with stylized floral pattern decoration. The drawing is hand painted and made using enamel paint with a very elaborated technique, signed 'Maxonade Paris'. Hung at a nickel-plated brass fixture with one socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb. Ornate bronze canopy. Dimensions: Height 46cm / 18.11 in, diameter 40 cm / 15.74 in. The supporting brass frame and the canopy have a light nickel rub, which underlines its authenticity and beautiful aging. The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we would always suggest it is tested and fitted by a qualified electrician.
