About the Item
A beautiful textured glass and nickel (similar to chrome) light fixture by Rupert Nikoll, Austria, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or early 1960s).
The lamp has been refurbished and it is in very good condition. Nickel parts have been re-polished and they look almost new in real. On the images it seems that some areas on nickel are tarnished or dark but these are reflections and shadows from the surrounding objects.
The fixture has six sockets for standard screw base bulbs (LED or filament bulbs up to max. 60W per bulb).
Measures: Diameter 19.7 in. (50 cm). Height of body without rod: 11.8 in. (30 cm).
Current voerall drop is ca. 24 in. (60 cm).
The light and the glass is very similar to the lights from J.T. Kalmar or Orrefors.
