Monumental Curvati Murano Chandelier, Clear Triedri, Carlo Nason

It was during last summer, a dinner on Carlo's mansion over the lagoon, I naively asked Carlo if he would like to make a brass chandelier design for me and the lab I use. Carlo Nason is on the lighting designer wall of fame, known worldwide for his innovative designs in glass during the roaring decades of Italian design. He worked on some metal projects. This chandelier uses an ingenious rotating stem structure and features a shallow drum-shaped shade at the end of each arm. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully. This is the medium Sistema chandelier, with 3 arms and 6 shades. Ideal for an oval or long dining table. It works well also over an island. The result is uniform lighting from above the dining table. There is nothing else like this on the market. There are beautiful chandeliers available, but they always tend to give out too much light in the center and too little at either side. Each shade has two LED strips that can be lit separately. In this way you can have either a regular light or a stronger light depending on how you need to use the chandelier. The LEDs are top quality with a CRI of over 80. This ensures that the natural color of food and people can be seen perfectly. See the next to last photo, where there is some fruit and a color chart below the chandelier. The LEDs are on a 24V direct current feed, so there is no flickering. The arms can rotate 180 degrees, for many possible combinations. See the drawing for the two regular positions. The chandelier can also be rotated when it is lit. The shades can be rotated on the arm axis to meet any lighting needs in a living room (paintings, bookshelves etc.). The shades have neutral white glass fixtures. Please see the photos.
