About the Item
A special round biomorphic clear glass pendant designed by Koch & Lowy for Peill & Putzler, manufactured in Germany, circa 1970s.
High quality and in very good condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use.
The fixture requires 1 x E27 Standard bulb with 100W max and is compatible with the US/UK/ etc .. standards.
The current total Height can be adjusted for higher or lower ceiling.
Three pieces are available.
This light and the other models of this pendant lamp (different sizes) won the iF Design award in 1975.

Peill + Putzler: Glashüttenwerk Peill und Sohn was founded in 1903 in Düren, a small town in West Germany. Peill merged with Putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947 as a glassworks and lighting company and became - Peill & Putzler Glashüttenwerke -.
The company always worked with important designers as Wilhelm Wagenfeld, William Brown, Helmut Demary, Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner, Horst Tüselmann and so on.
