A Pair of English Advertising Signs Hand Done in Green, Red & Gold, 19th Century
About the Item
Pair of long late 19th century English advertising signs, probably from a type of market. They have quite a bit of graphic pop having the dark green background with bold lettering in red and gold.
The "Wholesale & Retail" sign is 14.77' (177.25") in length and 35.75" high.
The "Delicious Butters" sign is 16' (192") in length and 35.75" high.
They are both approximately 2" thick.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. These signs have incredible patina. There is wear of course due to the nature of their use, however the decoration remains bright and colorful. Dark green, red and gold-pop!!!
