An authentic 19th century Native American Sioux (Plains Indian) beaded war shirt, circa 1880. Native tanned hide beaded with glass trade beads, fringed and painted in green ochre pigment. Dimensions reflect the greatest measurements as displayed on the custom wall-mount stand (included. Authenticity is guaranteed. A Nomadic tribe, the Sioux are associated with areas of the great plains of the United States including present-day North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Montana.
