Antique English Sterling Silver Tazza Dish

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver dish or tazza in the Lindisfarne style; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver dish or tazza has a circular shaped form onto a plain pedestal and circular foot. The plain dish has a central circular well and is encompassed with an applied traditional interlacing Lindisfarne/Celtic style border to the rim. The underside of the foot bears the retailer's mark 'Reid & Sons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.' Dimensions: Height 7.2 cm/ 2.8", diameter of rim 27.3 cm/ 10.7", diameter of foot 12 cm/ 4.7". Weight: 19.9 troy ounces/620g. Maker: Reid & Sons. Date: 1935. Origin: Birmingham, England. Video: A video of this fine piece is available upon request.
