A rare Victorian novelty silver Propelling Pencil made in the form of a period tennis racket, the slide out pencil with ball finial. Stamped: S Mordan & Co and with a diamond registration mark for 7th September 1878. By Sampson Mordan, circa 1880. Measures: Open 80 mm Closed 66 mm Weight 8.50 Grams (0.27 troy ounces).
