A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver sugar/bon bon bowl; an addition to our dining silverware collection This fine antique Victorian sterling silver bon bon/sugar bowl has a plain circular rounded form. The surface of this antique bowl is plain and embellished with an impressive applied egg decorated border to the rim. This Victorian sugar bowl is fitted with two exceptional chased decorated figural handles with scrolling leaf decorated lower sockets; each character is grasping the edge of the bifurcating upper terminal. The bowl is supported by a circular spreading foot onto four chased decorated lion feet. The foot of the bowl is embellished with a further applied egg decorated border. Condition This antique Victorian sugar bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl has wear in keeping with age and location. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
