Victorian, Coin Silver (.900) calling card/ business card holder, Gorham Manufacturing Co., Providence, Rhode Island, circa 1860-1870. Two figures (one on each side) are holding the case's original, silver link chain. Engine turned design. Has a vacant cartouche on both sides of the case. Measures: 4 1/8 inches high x 3 inches wide (at widest point) x 1/4 inches deep. Weighs 2.875 Troy ounces. Holds standard sized business cards. Dark spots in photos are reflections. In excellent antique condition.
