Silver 925 Cigarette Box Enamel Painting Luna and Centaur Possibly, Italy

Stunning silver 925 cigarette box / case with enamel painting covering lid: View of bathing lady nudes surrounding goddess luna: they are looking towards a centaur who is going to save the female nudes from wild pack of hounds or wolves. The lid is decorated with an interesting enamel picture as mentioned above: There are bathing lady nudes visible - they surround Goddess Luna (a crescent is visible about woman's head): They seem to be threatened by a pack of hounds (or wolves) which are fighting against the centaur who is willing to save the ladies ... Probably it is a story of ancient mythology. - The details are stunningly painted so that the viewer has an excellent impression of this magnificent picture: The painting is of finest quality, indeed! Manufactory: Possibly Italy (there is a maker's sign existing) Hallmarked silver 925. There are some inscriptions engraved at inner side of lid: -- interwoven initials ASZ -- 'Omaggio Diana Ottobre 1908' = obviously it is a dedication written in Italian / it means: Dedicated to Diana / October 1908 Made circa 1908. Please note: The cigarette box is gilded (gilt) inside! Size / Measures: 8.0 x 9.5 cm / 3.14 x 3.74 inches Height: 1.0 cm / 0.39 inch Total weight: 178 grams / 6.26 OZ / 5.72 troy ounces Condition: Quite good (there are slight signs of wear on picture existing - a few slight scratches are visible there and the gildings at inner side have some spots, apart from that there aren't any imperfections existing).
